realme 9 4G – The Ultimately Clear Difference between 108MP vs. 64MP Photography

The realme 9 4G brings an excellent 108MP camera module with a Samsung HM6 sensor giving it the edge over competition In recent times, the pressure to have a good phone with a high-end camera has increased in society as people seek greater functionality out of their handheld devices.

People nowadays want a phone which can do it all, most importantly clicking high quality HD images for their daily or professional use. As a result, smartphone companies have reworked their products to make camera modules one of the key selling features of contemporary smartphones. In order to attract the average customer and photography enthusiasts, brands constantly strive to pack as high a megapixel count as possible.

By knowing the importance of a good quality camera and megapixels, realme has come up with a new smartphone, the realme 9 4G which features a new and improved 108MP Pro-Light camera setup. The realme 9 4G is the very first smartphone to come equipped with the brand new Samsung HM6 sensor allowing it to deliver superior results. Equipped with 108 million pixels as small as 0.64μm, the ISOCELL HM6 sensor has the ability to render your captured memories with stunning high-definition detail.

Megapixel counts in smartphone cameras play an important role in how your images appear on larger displays. While there may not be a huge difference viewing images taken by a 108MP camera and a 64MP camera on a smartphone, when you scale up the display to the size of a desktop or a television the 64MP image appears to be lower quality with a lot more grain and blur. A higher MP count means the output can be presented on a bigger canvas without compromising on quality. This is because the size of the final image is determined by the multiplying the horizontal pixels by the vertical pixels and a 108MP camera has overall more pixels than a 64MP one.

One of the advantages of capturing a 108MP image on smartphones like realme 9 4G, is the amount of details and information about your subject that the photo can retain. When compared to 64MP image, a 108MP image can capture a lot of details. This means that the image will still appear high quality even if you zoom into and crop the initial image when compared to low-resolution images. The large sensor has the ability to capture good details even in menial lighting conditions. This in tandem with a functional Night Mode should play well. Additionally, there is also a Smart ISO feature that lowers ISO in bright areas for vivid photos and propels ISO for lesser noise in underexposed areas of a scene. Apart from this, this sensor also gives you the support of 6k video recording at 30fps, so it is going to be quite good for the content creators.

While having a higher megapixel count doesn’t necessarily mean a camera module is better, the inclusion of a first-in-segment Samsung HM6 sensor makes the realme 9 4G’s camera module highly desirable. The stunning performer has a lot more to get excited about. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and realme’s UI 3.0 software. A large 5,000mAh battery powers the device with support for 33W DartCharge fast-charging technology via USB Type-C so you can use the device for long stretches of time without worry.

From a connectivity standpoint, the handset supports dual-SIM 4G LTE connectivity and dual-band Wi-Fi. So don’t wait to get your very own realme 9 4G which is available at your nearest smartphone store or exclusively online through the official realme stores on Daraz and AlfaMall for just PKR 54,999/.

A brave widow – Bhappan Bibi cultivates her small farm in Multan.

Pakistan’s fertile lands, irrigated by five rivers and one of the world’s largest canal networks, are providing good yields and respectable livelihood to over 70 percent of the country’s 240 million citizens. Therefore, the agricultural sector has attracted large-scale investments from global and domestic enterprises, contributing to socio-economic development and sustainable growth. The nation’s farming communities have many inspirational stories of diligent growers who have achieved remarkable success. During a recent visit to South Punjab, I came across one of these exemplary farmers – Bhappan Bibi a courageous widow who nurtures her own crops on her seven acres of land near Multan city, situated on the bank of river Chenab. After the tragic loss of her husband, 18 years ago, the only option she had was to take up farming on this small piece of land that she owned. With her hard work and strong will, Bhappan Bibi has been able to sustain her household, feed and educate her 5 children for almost two decades now. Over the years, she cultivated rice, wheat, Okra, etc., all by herself, and this honorable profession has also enabled her to get her three daughters married. Today, she can also afford to get her remaining two children married, without depending on any financial help from relatives or others. She is skilled in efficient water use and knows crop-protection, spray-techniques and timely use of the right amount of fertilizers. Hence, her farm produces high-quality crops that earn a good price in the market. Based on her experience, Bhappan Bibi especially highlighted the role that innovative crop protection products and advisory services of Syngenta – the global producer of crop protection, biologicals, seeds and crop enhancement products – through its Naya Savera franchise network have played in not only protecting her crop against different pests and diseases but also increasing the quality and quantity of her farm’s yield. This merit a special mention in this article because often we neglect the positive impact that socially and environmentally responsible crop protection companies such as Syngenta are playing in making resourceful contributions to the wellbeing of the farmers and socio-economic development of the country through their products, advisory services and training on safe and responsible usage. Water-shortage and rising-temperatures are impacting agricultural productivity and practices all over the world. The water-availability and farms’ outputs in the Multan region are also reducing. However, Bhappan Bibi has been very fortunate in this regard. By applying her deep understanding of irrigation-techniques, she has overcome the water shortage and get much higher yields. While many other farmers, who were using local, low-quality products and relying heavily on canal water have suffered greatly, in the same area. These farmers are now seeking Bhappan Bibi’s advice to reduce the negative impact of climate-change. Giving an inspirational message to the women around the world, Bhappan Bibi stated that; “If I can achieve so much, with self-reliance, hard-work and patience – so can you. Today’s woman has much easier access to a world of information that I could never dream of, during my toughest days. These girls can accomplish everything by remaining focused on their positive ambitions. Never get discouraged by what negative people say and take optimum advantage of your talents and evolving-technologies”.

Ejaz Tanveer said that political instability is also leading towards such developments as not only the government but whole economy is feeling the jolt.

Green ICT and Infrastructure Solutions Launched at Huawei Win-Win Innovation Week

Pakistan (Muhammad Yasir)  President of Huawei’s Carrier Business Group, and Dr. Philip Song, Huawei’s Carrier BG Chief Marketing Officer, discussed the role of sustainable ICT infrastructure in helping operators systematically build green network to simultaneously address traffic growth and support carbon emission reduction. This took place during the Green Development Solutions Launch, held on the second day of the Huawei Win-Win Innovation Week, followed by the launch of a new solution suite. Green ICT for New Value Ryan Ding stressed the need for operators to prioritize energy efficiency and called for the establishment of a standard, industry-wide indicator system for energy efficiency. He explained, “Every major advancement in history has been accompanied by a significant improvement in the energy efficiency of information transmission. The increase in carbon emissions generated by exploding data traffic will become a global problem that must be tackled in the next five to ten years”. To help operators achieve these goals, Huawei has proposed a three-layer solution: green sites, green networks, and green operations. So far, these green development solutions have been deployed for operators in more than 100 countries. Dr. Philip Song explained how the solution is aimed at helping operators systematically improve network energy efficiency: “As ICT infrastructure continues to evolve from 5G and F5G to 5.5G and F5.5G, green networks, evaluated against the network carbon intensity (NCIe) index, will become a critical part of future target networks. The main objective of our solution launch today is to help operators systematically build green networks that simultaneously address traffic growth and carbon emission reduction.” Song launched Huawei’s green development solution with innovations at these three levels, as well as the new NCIe indicator system which supports this three-layer solution of green sites, green networks, and green operations. The NCIe energy efficiency indicator system proposed by Huawei has been approved by ITU-T SG5 and is now in the process of public consultation.
