First Look of ‘HUEY TUM AJNABI’ Now Launched (Trailer, Posters and Release Date)

Lahore – February 09, 2023: The trailer of ‘HUEY TUM AJNABI’ starring Mikaal Zulfiqar and Sadia Khan has been launched in nationwide cinemas. Written and directed by Kamran Shahid, the movie is set to be released on Eid ul Fitr featuring all-time favorite and veteran artists like Sohail Ahmed, Mehmood Aslam, Shafqat Cheema, Samina Pirzada, Ayesha Umer, Shamoon Abbasi, Alyy Khan and filmstar Shahid in pivotal roles.

The first look trailer provided the viewers with a chance to snap back into an untold love story happening in the background of 1971 war, when Nizam and Zeenat met in the corridors of history at a strange time. The intense and epic love story is a phenomenal flashback into one of the most captivating romantic stories under the banner of Shahid Films. The film is being distributed by Mandviwalla Entertainment in Pakistan.

The Bohra community announces the Bohra Food Festival on February 24-26th, 2023

Karachi (Muhammad Yasir) The Bohra Food Festival will be Karachi’s first-of-its-kind food festival. The festival’s primary objective is for the people of Karachi to learn and embrace the Bohra culture, and there’s no better way to do that than with food.

The festival aims to bring the foodies and foodprenuers under one roof so they can create a delightful culinary experience for the food-loving people of Karachi. Apart from authentic Bohra food, the festival will also have a selection of other restaurants and eateries, offering all kinds of cuisines ranging from Turkish, Japanese, Chinese, and various other foods and delicacies loved by Karachiites.

The thaal is a Bohra staple and a defining element of their cuisine. Karachiites can experience the thaal meal by pre-booking their meals before the event to enjoy the delicious feast with their loved ones. This is how the Bohra community is giving the people of Karachi a chance to have an authentic food experience.

The Bohra Food Festival will be held on the rooftop of the North Walk in the heart of North Nazimabad. The festival covers an area of 64000 sq ft and is the ideal location to accommodate a large number of people. The festival will have something for the entire family, with a photo booth and a kids’ play area to keep the little ones occupied with games and slides while the parents can enjoy the festivities.

TLA taking 13th National Child Art Exhibition to Islamabad

The Little Art is taking the exhibition of 13th ArtBeat – National Child Art Competition and Exhibition to Islamabad. The annual exhibition will be open at Islamabad Art Gallery, F-9 Park coming saturday. The exhibition will be inaugurated by Dr Arjumand Faisel, Curator, Gallery 6, Islamabad.

A curated show of over 72 artworks will be showcased at the exhibition at the Islamabad Art Gallery F-9 Park. Young Artists from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, KP and AJK will be the part of this exhibition. This year’s themes were “75 Years of Pakistan” “Dialogue” and “Child Labor”. Young artists from 4-18 years were invited to paint or draw on these themes in their own unique ways. The show will remain open for public for one day. Child artists who were selected to present their works at the gallery exhibitions in Islamabad will be awarded certificates and prizes by the honorable guests.

This year, 270 schools and 24 community organizations working in the education sector from across Pakistan have participated in the 13th ArtBeat. The Jury of this year 13th ArtBeat consisted of Abdul Jabbar Gul (Sculptor, Karachi), Ali Azmat (Artist, College of Art and Design, University of the Punjab), Shireen Bano Rizvi (Department of Visual Arts, NCA, Lahore), Irfan Gul Dahri (Artist and Director Art Otaq, Lahore), Sajjad Akram (Director, Nukta Studio, Islamabad), Shajia Azam (NCA, Lahore) and Kiran Saleem (Visual Artist, NCA, Lahore).

ArtBeat – National Child Art Competition and Exhibitions is in its 13th edition now. The project was initiated in 2012 with a vision to promote visual culture, understanding of issues among children and youth from their own perspective, celebrate children as artists and present children’s views as a point of discourse for adults and the community. In the past 12 years, nearly 100,000 children have participated as artists in ArtBeat.

The Little Art is a non –profit organization working for promoting arts education and providing creative learning opportunities to children and young people in Pakistan.

Kinnaird College is Raising Awareness for Fashion Sustainability.

Kinnaird Center for Learning and Cultural Development (KCLCD), Kinnaird College organized a unique thematic fashion show entitled “RECYCLE, REUSE & RETHINK”. Held at amphitheatre, the fashion show highlighted the message of environment sustainability as students showcased the outfits, costumes and enriched ornaments produced from the papers, old clothes, scarfs, bottle caps and other related materials. 
The young designers received warm applause from the faculty members and students as they present a beautiful collection of innovative designs, distinctive ideas and impactful demonstration. It is pertinent to mention that the collection was so real that it was able to be used in daily routine life as well. 
Dr. Rukhsana David principal Kinnaird College acknowledged the creative collection of the young designers and expressed that amazing art work was real reflection of our talented youth. She stressed that aim of the fashion show was to raise awareness about climate change and act as an agent
To take serious actions to save our earth and safeguard the environment sustainability and students showcased this important message through a brilliant thematic collection.
Such activities raise the confidence of the young students as they not only produce the beautiful collection of dresses but also presents it by themselves as models to raise awareness said by Maha Jamil director KCLCD. She said the basic idea was how we create fashion accessories and having less impact on environment and students excelled in their maiden fashion show on Recycling.
Environment sustainability and climate changes are alarming issues for the whole world and we at Kinnaird College are playing our active role in nourishing the youth minds about its devastating impacts. We have organized various seminars, workshops and activities to raise an awareness and this fashion show was recent segment of large program, said by the Rizwan Anwar UN Global Youth Ambassador on Sustainable Development Goals. 
He added that “RECYCLE, REUSE & RETHINK” is a broader concept and we are inculcating this environment friendly approach and practices in our students.

DUBAI WITNESSES A GRAND SHOW OF KIMONOS

Look Up Japan, a fashion show on famous ‘Kimonos’, has added ripples to Dubai’s fashion arena. Designer Yuko Murokami hosted an exclusive fashion show at Dubai World Trade Center on September 10 presenting the kimonos’s revival. From voluminous dresses to wild flowers on head, the collection was nothing short of innovative as displayed on the models who walked the runway. With vintage up cycled fabric work and ruffled sleeved pieces, the innovative pieces were an ode to the Japanese culture.

The evening saw a gallore of celebrities like Ibrar Ul Haq Pakistan singer, Azeem Dar singer, Hollywood singer Persian Dulao and Mahar Alkhaja Arab Michael Jackson who enthralled the audience with their electrifying performences. The dignitaries present were HH Sheikh Obad Bin Suhail Al Maktoum, HH Shiekh Buti Bin Abdulhakkim Al Maktoum, Dr Bu Abdullah, H.E Dr Maryam Mohd Fatma Matar. Organised by Westfield Event Management, the event was a gateway for Fashionistas in Dubai to experience the Japan Fashion catwalk.
