Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari announced the name of her newborn son on Monday.

Bakhtawar took to Instagram to let the people know her son’s name.

The caption of Bakhtawar’s post starts with the baby boy’s name, “Mir Hakim Mahmood Chaudhry”.

“Mir Hakim Mahmood Choudhry. Named after my late maternal uncle Mir & my late paternal grandfather Hakim Ali Zardari,” wrote Bakhtawar.

Bakhtawar told her Instagram followers that she has named Mir Hakim after her maternal uncle Mir Murtaza Bhutto and late paternal grandfather Hakim Ali Zardari.

Apart from revealing his name, Bakhtawar also prayed to the Almighty to make the name a blessing for her son and make him a child who fears Him and “is devoted to his parents and religion”.

Bakhtawar gave birth to her firstborn on October 10.

Actor Fahad Mustafa is asking Pakistanis to brace themselves up amid the ongoing inflation. The actor turned to his Twitter and shared a note referring to the hike in the prices of petrol in the country.

“If he wanted, he could have raised the prices by Rs.20, but for his people, he only increased them by Rs.10.49. An exemplary leader,”  read Fahad’s post in Urdu.

Responding the post, a fan quoted PM Imran Khan’s signature catchphrase “Ghabrana Nahien Hai” and asked the JPNA 2 star if they can finally star to get worried in between the price rise?

“Dear Sir, ab thora sa ghabra leen???(Dear Sir, can we get a little worried now?)” to which Fahad replied, “Thora nahi ab khul ke ghabrayen (Not little, get really worried now)” with a playful emoticon.

Fahad’s post comes after the PTI-led government jacked up the petrol prices on Saturday, October 15.

Superstar Mahira Khan’s much-awaited telefilm, Ek Hai Nigar, is only a few days away from its premiere. The film, which is officially releasing on October 23, is Mahira Khan’s tribute to female Army officer General Nigar Johar.

While the actor’s upcoming project mainly sheds light on women empowerment, the film also discusses Gen Nigar’s personal life, a huge part of which is her husband- Johar Ali Khan.

On Thursday, the Verna star turned to her Instagram to officially unveil Bilal’s character as Sir Johar aise a dapper photo of the actor in the army uniform. 

“If you ask Gen Nigar Johar about Sir Johar, she will always reply with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes. The man behind this legend of a woman – Johar Ali Khan,” Mahira shared an anecdote from Gen Nigar’s life.

She continued, “#BilalAshraf in his first ever TV appearance as Johar Ali Khan, in the much awaited telefilm #AikNaiNigar.”

The official trailer of Ek Hai Nigar will drop on Friday, October 15.

The multi-talented actor, who is praised for essaying versatile roles, is back with yet another promising project.

Turning to her Instagram on Friday, Saba announced her all-new project after a long hiatus, titled Serial Killer.

Saba Qamar’s new project is written by none other than Umera Ahmed. Serial Killer comes as her second collaboration with the script writer after Maat.

Mahira Khan’s latest play Hum Kahan kay Sachay Thay is mesmerizing the audience completely. The play marked Mahira Khan’s return to television after six years. Makeup artist Shoaib Khan, who has surprised his followers with realistic recreations of iconic names such as Noor Jehan in the past, has something different to offer this time. He has re-enacted an entire scene from HKKST.

It follows Mahira Khan’s character Mehreen grinding chutney in the kitchen with her maid and talking about Aswad (played by Usman Mukhtar), unaware of him standing right behind her. 

Shoaib nailed Mehreen’s expressions in light makeup, a tight bun and a pink kurti.

The original scene features Kaif Ghaznavi as Mehreen’s maid.

HKKST is based on Umera Ahmed’s novel of the same name and has been directed by Farooq Rind.   

It features Mahira, Usman and Kubra Khan (Mashal) as cousins and explores the themes of love, hate, jealousy, mystery and complex relationships.

Pakistani actress Sajal Aly is over the moon after her fellow Yumna Zaidi bagged two Lux Style Awards. 

Taking to her Instagram Story, the actress penned words of love and encouragement as she wrote “congratulations Yumna ab tou party banti hay yaar [now its time to party]”.

It is pertinent to mention that Yumna owned the 20th Lux Style Awards with two wins in one night.

The Pyaar Ke Sadqay star did not only bag a critically-acclaimed award for Best Actor-female, but also proved to be fan-favourite with highest votes in the viewer’s choice category.

It was a shiny night for the Pakistani celebrities as the Geo Lux Style Awards 2021 announced Yumna Zaidi owned the 20th Lux  Style Awards with two wins in one night!

The Pyaar Ke Sadqay star did not only bag a critically-acclaimed award for Best Actor-female, but also proved to be fan-favourite with highest votes in the viewer’s choice category.

Yumna Zaidi slipped into a black silk gown for the day. The actor also paired her looked with dangling silver earrings.

“Sharing an overwhelming moment from last night @luxstylepk 2021….2021 has been really lucky for me .“Yeh wohi Allah hai ” Yumna shared on her Instagram on Sunday.

In her acceptance speech, Yumna Zaidi paid gratitude to all those who constantly supported her in the process, including her family for always reminding her that ‘she is the best.’

Singer Falak Shabir shared an adorable video of the fellow singer and wife Sarah Khan loving her newborn daughter Alyana Falak in her arms on Instagram.

In the heartfelt caption, he commended all the women who give birth to their children after facing immense physical and mental stress.

In the caption of the video, Shabir said that he was amazed to see women braving the physical and mental during pregnancy.

“MASHALLAH When it comes to true strength and the ability to endure pain, women blow us away,” he wrote. “The morning sickness, the heartburn, the sleeplessness, backaches, mood swings and what not!”

He added: “Then there’s also the mental stress of worrying that the baby they’re carrying is healthy, juggling work with pregnancy exhaustion, trying to plan out the nursery down to the last perfectly matched detail and coming up with a baby name that’s unique enough to stand out!”

Shabir said that a woman feels as if she has fractured 20 bones of her body when delivering her baby.

“Imagine the mothers pain and love? SubhanAllah!” he said.

He added that he was convinced mothers are superheroes due to their knack for braving and coming out victorious from any situation they face.  Falak Shabir said that Sarah Khan is not only the mother to his child but is his heartbeat as well, adding that he promises to keep loving her and protecting her and her daughter till he breathes his last.

He announced the birth of his daughter with a picture in which Sarah Khan and his newborn daughter can be seen. Earlier, a video of Shabir giving azaan in his daughter’s ear had also gone viral on social media as well.
