Coca-Cola empowers microfinance success story at Pakistan’s First Ever Beauty Expo

Lahore (Muhammad Yasir)  Coca-Cola Pakistan will be sponsoring Shabnam Bashir, an up and comingself-made beautician from Lahore, to participate in ‘Beyond Beautiful’ – the first ever beauty expo in Pakistan,to be held in Karachion January 26 and 27, 2019. Shabnam is one of the 7,500 beneficiaries from the Coca-Cola funded microfinance project ‘5by20 Pakistan’ in partnership with Kashf Foundation, and after qualifying in beautician courses through microfinance loans, Shabnam has now set up her at-home salon which has helped her regain her financial independence and better livelihood for her family. She will now have the opportunity to participate in a live makeup masterclass at the event to raise awareness for her fellow project beneficiaries.

Speaking about this opportunity, Rizwan Khan, General Manager Coca-Cola Pakistan & Afghanistan highlighted, “The Company has pledged to empower 5 million women by 2020 globally by providing them with microfinance loans and trainings in entrepreneurship. Our women can be truly empowered through financial independence and direct employment in the industry, and through Kashf and Catwalk’s support, we are raising awareness to secure placements for our 7,500 project beneficiaries in beauty, football stitching, handicrafts and retail industry.”

Beyond Beautiful is the first of its kind beauty expo in Pakistan which will highlight and showcase the crafts, products and innovation related to beauty and wellness industry, inviting professionals from across the globe to promote Pakistan’s local beauty industry. Moreover, it will provide a strong networking opportunity for women like Shabnam Bashir who are in the process of growing their at-home businesses in an extremely competitive industry.

Alkaram Launched its 43rd store in Lahore with Ayeza Khan!

Pakistan Fashion Industry Brighting In The World.

Lahore (Muhammad Yasir) Skanistan is a Norwegian based fashion organization.The group of multi talented people under the supervision of Mr. Aman Sheikh who is CEO and Co Founder of group and also trying to create better image of Pakistan by showing his keen interest in raising social issues at each and every level; Embassy of Pakistan also likes their courageous step as Mr Ambassdor of Pakistan was there at the first round of showcasing. Most interesting thing was that they had 40 multicultural models who represented the diverse community in Scandinavia, included hijabi models, transgenders models and male models were at the ramp just to show unity for women empowerment which is main issue raised by Mr.Aman Sheikh with the support of the team.

 

Main lead of designers were Ali Xeeshan who always raised voice against child marriage, Maria B who is true symbol of feminism, SamDada who always spoke about peace in the religion. Baroque which is known for its unique combinations of West and East. Different NGO carrying slogan “we are born free”, Norwegian local brands and designers from Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Scotland, Manchester, Germany, Denmark were there as exhibitors too.

It was attend by great peronalites such as Mr Ambassador Zaheer Khan. Stylist Aamir Naveed with his perfect team from UK was the offical hair partner. Norwegian fashion showman, Jan Thomas, Filmmaker and Academy award nominee Iram Haq. Norwegian artist Pia Haraldsen and member from the Norwegian royal family.Top models and many more were at red carpet to give a big round of applause to Mr Sheikh, Co Founder Sarish Riaz and MD Asia, Zille Huma.

 

 

 

Red carpet was hosted by model Lina Kamil and great number of audience was there at both rounds.

Khaadi launches its 44th National Store in Hyderi, Karachi

Karachi (Muhammad Yasir) Khaadi, Pakistan’s premier fashion retail brand launched its 44th national store in Hyderi, Karachi. The store launch coincides with Khaadi Pret’s winter collection, which will be available in Khaadi stores across Pakistan.

Khaadi wins ‘Retail Brand of the Year’ award at the HUM Style Awards 2018

Lahore (Muhammad Yasir)  Khaadi, Pakistan’s premier fashion retail brand, won the prestigious “Retail Brand of the year Award” at this year’s HUM STYLE AWARDS 2018, held at an evening of glamour and style at Karachi’s Expo Centre.

Khaadi, was selected on the basis of its contribution towards establishing a strong foothold in terms of retail expansion and experience. Khaadi was recognized last year for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Brand Development’ category at the same awards last year.
