Pakistani actress Sarah Khan, who is expecting her first baby with husband singer Falak Shabir, looked radiant in her latest photos. Sarah and Falak Shabir tied the knot on July 16, 2020.

The Raqs e Bismil actor took to Instagram and shared her stunning photos in an all-black outfit, leaving fans swooning.

She posted the pictures with simple heart emoji in the caption. In one of the photos, Sarah Khan can be seen flaunting her baby bump.

Ushna Shah tests positive for Covid-19 even after mandatory doses of vaccine

Pakistani actress Ushna Shah has tested positive for coronavirus even after the two mandatory doses of the vaccine.

Ushna Shah who has starred in television serials such as Bashar Momin and Alif Allah Aur Insaan — posted her health update on Instagram..

In a statement, Ushna said, “Even with the two mandatory doses of the vaccine, I have tested positive for Covid-19.”

“I am a relatively healthy person with a strong immune system but the bug got through, and the symptoms are extremely unpleasant. I shudder to think what would have happened had I not been vaccinated.”

“I urge everyone to wear mask, get vaccinated and take all necessary precautions to protect themselves!” Ushna said and added, “Covid-19 is not a joke and the Delta variant is certainly not to be taken lightly.”

The actress further said, “If we have been in contact in recent days, please get yourself tested! Wishing you all health and wellness, Ush.”

She wrote in the caption, “To those I met recently, I vehemently apologise. I assumed it was just a viral- It wasn’t until the fever became unbearable & I lost my sense of smell that I thought to get tested. I am so sorry.”

Veteran star Durdana Butt on ventilator.

The popular star, with a career spanning over various decades and memorable roles in the dramas like Fifty Fifty, Aangan Terha, Ruswai, Intezaar and Tanhaiyaan, famous Durdana Butt has been admitted to the hospital after her health deteriorated.

Veteran star has been shifted on ventilator and family has requested the prayers for her speedy recovery. According to the NUT source, Durdana butt had been battling cancer. Host Khalid Malik, too, took to social media and shared the news.

Sharing a picture of the actor, Malik wrote, “Please pray for her health. The sweetest Durdana Butt apa is on the ventilator. Allah grants her complete shifa. Ameen.” Soon after Malik’s post, Nadia Jamil and Simi Rahael prayed for Dutt’s speedy recovery.

Ajoka theatre announced the winners of Coronologue Film Fest

Winners of Ajoka’s Coronologue2 Short Film Festival were announced at a zoom ceremony. Sibte Hassan of Lahore was awarded the first prize of Rs 75,000 for his short film titled “Hero” while Moizah Jilani of Karachi was given the second prize of Rs 50,000 for her film “Distant Relationship”. Lahore’s Junaid Arif (“Abbu”) got the third prize of Rs 25,000 and Elsa Shabbir from Lahore (“Lockdown Effects”) and Peshawar’s Mahnoor Samad (“Life After Corona”) were given special mentions. The jury consisted of noted film scholar Aijazz Gul, eminent poet and playwright Asghar Nadeem Syed, Film & TV Producer Rashid Khawaja, actor Savera Nadeem and Ajoka Chairperson Zara Salman. The ceremony was also attended by participants of the competition from different parts of the country.

The awards were announced by Syeda Henna Babar Ali of Babar Ali Foundation. She congratulated the winners and appreciated the creative efforts by all participants. Jury members also congratulated the winners and suggested that Ajoka should continue to hold such festivals to encourage socially-aware young film makers. Ajoka’s Executive Director Shahid Nadeem thanked the sponsors of the festival the Babar Ali Foundation and individual contributors including Javed Masud, Dr. Fawzia Afzal Khan, Perin Boga, Khawar Mumtaz, Salman Cheema and Shama Khaliq. He announced that an online awards ceremony for the winners will be held in the second week of August which will be live-streamed on Facebook.

Ajoka also held Coronologue Theatre Festival in May 2020 during the first Lockdown.

Veteran Actresses Rehana Siddiqui passed way in UK

Renowned actress of Pakistani TV & film Industry Rehana Siddiqui passed away in United Kingdon two days ago after a prolong illness. Rehana Siddiqui was  a God gifted actress who performed various memorable roles in hit television plays and films during 80s and 90s era. She did a movie as title heroine but later shifted to characters roles. She performed mostly supporting roles in films. She portrayed the character of sister of Muhammad Ali in “ Mohabbat Rang laaey gee”.

Rehana Siddiqui was younger sister of celebrated actress Talat Siddiqui and aunt of actress/singer Arifa Siddiqui and Fareeha Pervez. Pakistan’s eminent Kathak Dancer Nahid Siddiqui is also her niece.

Rehana Siddiqui married with fellow actor Aurangzeb and carried the name Rehana Aurangzeb but after the separation from her husband she retained her previous name Rehana Siddiqui. . In Hamdam, Rehana was one of the lead actors, while Talat played an important role herself. She used to appear in every second play of PTV at a time and was considered the busiest actress of her time. Mia Khalifa getting divorced after two years. Annouced on Instagram

Mia Khalifa, a Lebanese-American influencer, former Adult Movie star has announced that she and her husband Robert Sandberg are getting divorced. She posted a note on Instagram to tell her followers about how the couple tried their “absolute hardest” to make their marriage work.

Mia was engaged to Robert, who is a Swedish chef, in March 2019 and tied the knot three months later. She now runs her YouTube channel called Mia K, where she talks about botox, tours, sports and fashion. She has over 24 million followers on Instagram.

“We can confidently say we gave it our all in making our marriage work,” she said. “But after almost a year of therapy and efforts, we are walking away.”

The influencer added that there is no one single reason for their split, but “unresolvable and fundamental differences” that neither can blame the other for.

“We’re closing this chapter with no regrets and starting our own,” said Mia. The two will stay connected through their family, friends and the love for their dogs.

 

Mariyam Nafees attends candle vigil for Noor Mukadam.

Eminent drama star Mariyam Nafees attended a candlelight vigil in Islamabad, penned a heartfelt note for Noor Muqaddam, who was brutally murdered and beheaded in the capital on Tuesday, July 20, by Zahir Jaffer.

She wrote “Noor, I had a lot to say for the last five days and now that I’m here at the vigil held for you, I don’t know what to say because nothing I say will bring you back,” wrote Mariyam, adding that saying sorry isn’t enough. “One by one, we’re ending up becoming a hashtag begging for justice.”

The Yaqeen ka Safar actress shared how Noor’s mother bravely repeated the words ‘Allah ke hawalay’ at her 27-year-old daughter’s funeral, highlighting the utter injustice of the situation. “She said those things because truly there’s no greater power than Allah and nobody serves justice as He does.”

“To tell you the truth, I don’t have much faith in this system,” added Mariyam, echoing the fear of the majority. “I’m scared. I’m scared for my mother, my sister, every single daughter of my country to the point that I’m scared for my dog too.”

Addressing the remainder of her note to the slain Noor herself, Mariyam said that her heart aches for Noor and that the country is thinking of, praying for, and fighting for her.

“Hoping and praying that these recent heinous murders become the wind of change this country desperately needs,” she concluded.

Adnan Siddiqui tests Covid Positive

Renowned Pakistani drama star Adnan Siddiqui have tested positive for coronavirus. He revealed it via a post on Instagram.  Sharing a post on Instagram , Adnan Siddiqui urged the public to follow the corona SOPs to remain safe from the 4th wave of the pandemic.

The veteran star wrote, hello everyone! So I have also been bitten by the bug! Not the love bug, by the Covid one! I tested positive today, thankfully with mild infection and immediately placed myself in isolation.

He also urged to people who came in contact with him during previous week to get tested for the corona so that they can remain save from covid.

Farhan Saeed’latest  song Na Cher Malangaan Nu have created a stir over the social media. Video of the song also feature singing sensation Aima Baig and is being directed by talented Adnan Qazi, who have dedicated it to the magnificent Taylor Swift and Director Joseph khan.

The video has been inspired from Taylor’s evergreen song Woldest Dreams. From its story to the cstumes, both the videos are quite similer and creates the same visual appeal. However Adnan had made minor changes according to his vision. In an Instagram Post, Adnan thanked the two for being his inspiration.
