TECNO plans its first Sensor-Shift integrated Android Phone

Lahore (Muhammad Yasir) The emerging technology brand, TECNO highlighted some of its latest technologies and achievements at the “Global Mobile Camera Trends 2022: Innovation Talk” Webinar. Among many, the most striking development was the use of Sensor-Shift, which will improve stability in photos and video imaging.

As short videos and live streaming are becoming popular on social media especially among youth, stabler cameras will enable users to produce studio-quality videos. This will therefore bring more fun with social networking sharing for the users.

Also, with the growing demand for imaging stability, TECNO plans to bring Sensor-Shift technology in its new products for the year 2022. This will make TECNO the first mobile phone brand in the Android system to do so.

So what is Sensor-Shift? Sensor-Shift stabilizes images using sensor movements to compensate for vibrations rather than using lens movements as in existing cameras. TECNO has broken through a technical barrier via an innovative circular plane design for FPC, realizing sensor movement on the roll axis, an advanced step forward from movement on the X- and Y-axis. During the simulation, it demonstrated 30% better augmentation in stress performance than the traditional vertical design. Furthermore, the TECNO R&D team realized another 60% anti-shaking effect enhancement by optimizing the test environment and software.

Compared to conventional Optical Imaging Stabilisation (OIS), TECNO’s sensor-shift technology can achieve a response frequency of 5,000 adjustments per second. In addition, further algorithm optimization will be used to improve the control accuracy of the technology to 350% of the current level, so that users won’t have to worry about shaky or blurred images.

TECNO is committed to bringing continuous innovation, developing professional cameras for photography and videography, and empowering consumers to express their lifestyles through the power of the future lens.

Apple becomes 1st US company to reach $3 tn valuation

Lahore (NUT-DESK)

Apple became the first US company to hit $3 trillion in market value, briefly reaching the landmark on Monday in the latest demonstration of the tech industry’s pandemic surge.

The iPhone maker scaled the record level near 1845 GMT, reaching $182.88 a share before slipping back slightly.

The tech giant also was the first US company to hit $2 trillion in August 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic that stoked demand for personal electronics and digital services, such as Apple’s streaming and smartphone app store.

And it likewise was the first American firm to overtake $1 trillion in August 2018.

The surge marks the latest accomplishment for Tim Cook, who became chief executive of the Cupertino, California giant in 2011 shortly before the death of the company’s visionary co-founder, Steve Jobs.

While the top tier of US stock markets are dominated by Silicon Valley companies, Microsoft is the only other American company worth more than $2 trillion.

In October, Apple reported net income of $20.5 billion on revenue of $83.4 billion, a record high for the quarter ending in September.

But as with many other tech giants, Apple has seen pressures in recent months due to supply chain problems, including a global shortage of semiconductors and Covid-related manufacturing disruptions in Southeast Asia.

Apple shares tumbled following that October earnings report, but rallied thereafter, winning nearly 20 percent in the final two months of 2021.

Near 1930 GMT, Apple shares were up 2.4 percent to $181.91.
