Lahore (Muhammad Yasir) Recently, leading NGOs in Pakistan namely; Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Rizq and Care Foundation joined the TikTok hashtags #RamadanSpirit and #BlessedRamadan to leverage the TikTok interactive community in gauging support for significant causes to the Pakistani community. As part of its efforts to inspire and encourage a new generation to have a positive impact on the planet and those around them, TikTok has launched two hashtags i.e. #RamadanSpirit and #BlessedRamadan driven by a full-slate of content highlighting social solidarity and the true value of giving back. This Ramadan initiative by TikTok has resonated with a massive audience garnering over 2.4 billion views for #BlessedRamadan and 210 million views for #RamadanSpirit to date, featuring a diverse spectrum of community service programmes including, Shaukat Khanum Hospital – Zakat and donation drive for cancer patients, Rizq NGO – Donation for Hunger-Free Pakistan, Care Foundation – Sponsoring education of underprivileged children, along with the local community content on the need of empathy, kindness and true spirit of Ramadan.
